The Believer’s Authority

Our delegated Authority as believers –

The bible gives us Gods Word on this subject, we must always go to the scriptures to see what God told us to do. The Word of God is the will of God.

We always go to the scriptures to see what His Word says.

The book of Ephesians is a letter written to the church at Ephesus, to believers or saints.

The first 3 chapters deal with doctrine, the last 3 deal with application.

In this very brief teaching I explain what God expects us to do. Two prayers God will not answer, one something He has already done something about, and two what He expects us to do something about.

In praying the Ephesians prayers in chapters 1:16-23, chapter 3:14-21 insert the word my or I, where Paul writes you or your. Your praying it like this

Eph 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you “me” the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

Eph 1:18 The eyes of your ” my” understanding being enlightened; that ye “I” may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of theglory of his inheritance in the saints,

As you pray these entire prayers everyday for yourself and others, revelation knowledge will come about your authority over Satan.

I recommend 3 books by Kenneth E. Hagin you must read. The Believers Authority Legacy edition, The Triumphant Church, The Name of Jesus Legacy edition.

You must get the revelation in your heart, not just head knowledge.

God has given delegated authority to every believer to use His name (Jesus) in spiritual battle against Satan. The bible says we wrestle not against flesh and blood. Eph 6:12 It is a spiritual battle Jesus already won. When God raised Jesus from the dead, He defeated the devil, He then gave delegated authority to the church to use His name as if He Himself was exercising HIs power. Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-18

Eph 1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

Notice also in verse 22,

Eph 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

In the next chapter we see verse

Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

We the church, are seated with Christ at Gods right hand, a place of Authority. God did not give authority to just Pastors, but to all born again believers.

As you pray those Ephesians prayers and meditate these verses, you will get revelation knowledge. You will find out God expects us to do something about it when the devil attacks us. Remember Jesus defeated him. We must exercise our God delegated rights as covenant saints over the devil.

We have The Word of God, the Holy Spirit, Prayer, and the church to help us in our needs.

Every time the devil tempted Jesus He always quoted the Word of God. Matt 4:4, Luke 4:1-13

Faith is acting on Gods Word, if He told us we could resist the devil we can. 1 Peter 5:8-9 If He said we could cast down evil thoughts we can. 2 Corn 10:3-5 We must do it.

If He told us we have authority in our lives and our families lives, we do.

You cannot teach on Our Authority and not teach on prayer, the two best scriptures in the New Testament are John 15:7 and Ephesians 6:18

When His word is abiding In You then the devil will know it, Jesus always spoke the Word.

Knowing your covenant rights in prayer is so important. When you have the Word of God and the Holy Spirit to help you, your in the perfect plan of God. There is such power when you are led of the Spirit in prayer according to His Word, but we must live in the word and it live in us.

The Holy Spirit will help you when you ask Him. Remember the more you know, the bolder you go.

Always find scriptures that pertain to what you are believing God for. Then you have a solid foundation to build your prayer life on.

Faith is a confidence of His Word in you and knowing he delights in your faith.

Remember the devil must obey you in Jesus Name.
