Bible Truths That Lead To Healing

Bible Truths That Lead to Healing. By Gene Whitaker
Jesus paid for your healing at the cross.

I Peter 2:24 –

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Isaiah 53:4-6, and Matthew 8:17,

Scriptures confirm the truth that healing is for you today. This happened by the stripes laid on Jesus back as well as his death, burial, and resurrection!

The devil is the killer, the destroyer, and Jesus is the Healer. Jesus said in

John 10:10 – “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

Hebrews 2:14 – says

“Since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity so that by His death He (Jesus) might destroy him who holds the power of death – that is, the devil.”

Jesus paid for your healing while you were still a sinner. No matter what “the accuser” may say, or what you may feel guilty about, your healing is already paid for in full. If you need to repent, He is quick to forgive and cleanse you completely.

Romans 5:8 –

“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

1 John 1:9 is available also,

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purity us from all unrighteousness.

You can’t earn it or buy it, it is a free gift, but you must receive it. To be saved we receive Him as Savior. To be healed we receive Him as our Healer. When we receive Him as Savior something wonderful happens inside – our hearts are changed and we become new creatures in Him.

When we receive Him as Healer something wonderful happens inside, and healing begins. He is still the Savior and Healer today.

(Hebrews 13:8)

So He is Your Savior and Healer today. There is no record in the bible where Jesus ever said No to anyone who came to Him and asked for healing.

Matthew 4:23

“Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.”

You must believe that it is His will for you to be healed just like it is His will for you (and all) to be saved. He wants you to have what He bought for you at the cross. Faith is important also to receive healing from God or anything else that has been provided for you in God’s word.

Hebrews 11:6 says –

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

One of the most important scriptures there is on how to receive healing or whatever you need from God is

Mark 11:22-24 – says –

And Jesus answering said unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Verse 25 is also good to read on forgiveness. You must believe that you receive healing before you have healing. Your confession of faith should be, “I believe I receive healing according to

Mark 11:23 and 24

so therefore I receive healing based on this Bible truth of God’s Word!” Thank you Jesus! Amen.
